Brexit slowdown

With 2017 now being an Election year and the continued Brexit hype the property market seems to have hit a plateau. The legal and planning system has slowed down to a grinding pace so much needs to be done to get the wheels and cogs of industry turning efficiently again. Taylor and Co continue to steadily grow and acquisition and sales are steady but there is plenty of room for more. Whoever governs for the next five years has a tough job to maintain, motivate and satisfy a groaning Britain and the delivery of much needed housing inherently needs a strong determined driving force behind it.

Welcome 2017 we hope this will be a year we can equal the fantastic sales of 2016 where we contracted over 750 building plots of varying shapes and sizes from a block of 350 plots with planning permission to a tiny 400 square foot barn in 2 acres with river frontage. This year sees one of our clients obtaining planning permission for another 750 houses in one lot and various plot sizes totalling over 250 plots so far. Catalyst Housing Group the buyer of the site intend to build out with confidence a scheme of private housing and affordable homes over the next 5 years.
