Taylor and Co Land Department were consulted about a 14 acre site in urban Rushden about the lands suitability for residential development. There were two titles and some technical complication about ownership and covenents. We unravelled the problem with our legal advisors and were able to combine the landowners into a promotion agreement with one of our trusted land promoters. They, in record time, were able to get the land allocated for housing and subsequently went about an outline application for the construction of 84 new homes and an ecology park. The application hit the covid years and we are only now coming to the end of the process and a planning consent. Taylor and Co alongside Berrys will jointly conduct a marketing exercise to find an unconditional buyer for the site later in the year 2022.
