Taylor and Co Land Department were thrilled to be contacted after we had written congratulating the Landowners on their land being allocated in the neighbourhood plan for 20 new homes and being asked to act on their behalf in the sale of the land with the benefit of the allocation adopted by Bedford Borough Council.

After a thorough marketing exercise where Taylor and Co were instrumental in speaking with many buyers to gauge how best the land might be sold an unconditional deal was struck with a formidable local developer with a huge historical success story. In the early rounds of discussion the land was made available on a conditional and unconditional basis with the opportunity of a hybrid of both and some worthy representations were made by 8 developers from far and wide. All buyers were given every opportunity to express themselves in their desire to purchase and many conversations and meetings took place between Glenn Taylor and the developers so that a full picture was available to the landowners to enable the best decision to be made in the Landowners best interest. A figure well in advance of the guide price was achieved by our marketing and negotiations.
