Interesting to say the least is an apt way to describe this former Fire Station which is steeped in history, but in very recent times has suffered from the consequence of vandalism and illegal occupation.
Occupying what would have been a double building plot on the street this building was built to service the needs of fire incidents in the neighbourhood. Used until literally the station became too small as fire engines and the population grew bigger in and around 1968.
